Vehicle Overview
Just in at YESCARS we have this 2020 CX-315S
Stylistically, the CX-3 remains one of the more car-like crossovers out there, with no pretension of toughness. Its 155mm of ground clearance makes it lower than some passenger vehicles, but its curvaceous design and snub proportions are on-brand for Mazda.
The 1500cc SkyActive petrol is a good fit for the car, especially given its low kerb weight. The unit is immediately responsive and peaky, and well-matched to the six-speed auto with torque converter. Ideal for inner-urban driving.
Seating arrangements for both driver and passenger are spacious, airy and comfortable, with the pilot's position comfortably able to accommodate even the largest of drivers albeit at the expense of rear seat passengers. The CX-3 has a false floor in the boot space that can be used to deepen the load space and offer more luggage capacity, as well.
With class-leading safety tech and clever torque vectoring as part of its standard features set, the popular CX-3 in likely to continue the small SUV popularity stakes for some time to come.
It's a city car, and so it shines brightest in the urban jungle, but its stylish design and top-class safety offering are pretty sizeable selling points for New Zealand city dwellers.
